BADVOID (formerly know as Notorious CHRIS) is already making an impact on the dance music scene. At the young age of 19, his distinctive bass sound and hard-hitting productions have collectively received millions of streams. Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Chris began his first foray in music at age 7 taking rock guitar lessons at school. After relocating with his family to Australia at ten years old, BADVOID's musical tastes would begin to shift from rock to electronic music. His life changed forever upon hearing Skrillex’s Bangarang EP for the first time at age 14. From this moment on, Chris was determined to become a world-famous DJ/Producer. He downloaded FL Studios, spent his free time watching YouTube tutorial videos, and began releasing original music through SoundCloud. Although none of his peers supported him, Chris forged ahead, and he began to find a workflow and unique sound. Eventually, BADVOID made the bold decision to drop out of high school to give his complete attention and focus towards his dream. This choice was met with a lot of resistance from friends and peers, but his early doubters are now BADVOID’s biggest fans. After five years of consistent work on his productions, Chris has been recognized globally with tracks signed to mainstream labels including Barong Family & Bourne Recordings. He has received continuous support from various international dance music media outlets, including YourEDM, WeRaveYou and EDMSauce. Additionally, BADVOID has toured all over Australia and South Asia with festival bookings at Groovin The Moo, The Grass Is Greener and Goodlife Presents, supporting industry titans like What So Not, Ekali, Peking Duk, Claptone, and many more. BADVOID has been gaining traction and support for his music from Marshmello, Zeds Dead, WHIPPED CREAM, Slushii, Ghastly, Sikdope - establishing himself as one of the hottest upcoming talents in bass music. Keep an eye out for this young, musically energized, and tenacious artist as he is currently working on tons of new music in his home studio, now using Ableton as his preferred DAW. BADVOID wants to show the world if he can do it – so can you. His passion for music is undeniable, and he cannot wait for you to hear more.
